​Ladies Toilets & New Disabled Toilet (with baby changing area)  Completed December 2020
Complete refurbishment including new floor foundation, ceiling & insulation, lights and electrics. New section to create disabled toilet. With thanks to a grant of £2,000 from Andrea Davies (Devon County Council), all the workmen and volunteers and the people of the village who supported events which raised the money towards this project

Since 2014 there have been many improvements inside and out financed with fund raising by the VHCG and grants. 
The kitchen was the first big project, completely gutted, walls boarded, new stainless steel units and new oven installed (Andrea Davis, DCC Grant £10,000 towards this).  The Gent's toilets were completed in 2019 (CMPC Parish grant £3,000 & Andrea Davis DCC £500 towards this).  Repair and refurbishment of front sash windows in 2016 & painting of front (Investing in Devon grant from Andrea Davis DCC £6,884).  The hall/stage sound system was installed in 2017 (£1,000 Andrea Davis DCC Grant was received towards this).  The top room refurbished and updated with new facilities in 2016 (£2,454 ring fenced  carry over funds from previous charity towards this).  The annexe and main hall have been decorated & upgraded and old windows and doors have been replaced with new PVC.  The electrics have also been upgraded over the past couple of years and a new water boiler was installed in 2020.  The main hall floor, stage roof, annexe and bar area are the next projects for fund raising and grant applications.
